Witchcraft When You’re Over It

This post is for witches who are tired, burnt out, and over it—but still want to do just enough magic to keep it all from falling apart.

Because even burned-out witches deserve powerful magic (and a nap).

You don’t have to be glowing under a full moon to be magical.
You don’t need to feel “high vibe” or energetically aligned.
You can be tired, cranky, uninspired, and still cast spells.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing a witch can do is show up anyway.
This post is for those days.

Signs You’re Deep in the “Over It” Vortex:

  • You flinch at the sound of a group chat ping

  • You haven’t touched your altar since the last retrograde

  • You’re spiritually exhausted but still lighting candles out of spite

  • You considered hexing Mercury itself

Sound familiar? Cool. You’re not alone.

Low-Energy Magic for the Emotionally Over It Witch

The “Close Enough” Candle Spell

  • Grab whatever candle is nearby

  • Light it. Whisper one word: “Release.”

  • Blow it out. That’s it.

    Energy moved. You’re welcome.

Spoonie Glamour (That Works in Sweatpants)

  • Look in the mirror and say: “I may be unraveling, but I still radiate power.”

  • Bonus points for messy buns, hoodies, and eyeliner from two days ago

Salt Bowl for Spiritual Gunk

  • Pour some salt in a bowl.

  • Put it somewhere near you.

  • Say: “Absorb what I can’t deal with.”

  • Empty it down the drain tomorrow. Let it go.

The Bare Minimum Brew

  • Brew some tea or pour a drink

  • Stir it slowly, mumble something half-intentional like:

“Please just help me survive the next 8 hours”

  • Sip. Spell complete.

Final Thoughts

Witchcraft isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence—even if that presence is tired, bitter, and wearing the same sweatpants for the third day in a row.

You’re still a witch.
You’re still sacred.
And even in your “over it” era… your magic works.

🖤 So go light that candle with spite and let the smoke do the heavy lifting.
